Cortelvisto Mark 2 - Gameboy Advance Raycaster


Cortelvisto Mark 2 - Ray caster Engine for the Gameboy Advance.

The original Cortelvisto was a ray caster for Qbasic. It was an old chunky thing which was going to be used to make a multiplayer FPS, however the game was never made.

Mark 2 is the second Ray caster by ice-d for Gameboy Advance. The engine features low-level assembly blitting routines for the drawing of walls and sprites. Also simple HUD and menu systems were included with the framework.

The engine is quite simple to implement and was used to develop Target: Mainframe.
